Re-establish a routine

With millions of us live streaming Joe Wicks’ workouts, searching for alternative PE lessons on YouTube and creating home curriculum documents has become the norm. To stay fit and healthy, the NHS advises us to do at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity a week or around 20 to 30 minutes a day, but this may be difficult to achieve while homebound.

Whether you’re entertaining the children of key workers or planning your lessons from home, or want to keep in touch with your parent body – PE has gone digital! Join the movement - #StayInWorkOut To help prepare for pupils return to homeschooling after the Easter break, we have gathered up the Maudesport team's favourite exercises and routines for keeping children entertained and active!

Jack’s Nought’s & Crosses

"Exercise is an amazing tool to help us feel happier, more energised, and more optimistic, so we encourage people to keep moving and stay healthy and positive."

Ben’s Resistance Band Workout

“Resistance bands are great for a full-body workout. If you’re keeping fit, your body will be strong and help you to cope with stress and also fight illness.”

Anna’s Primary Dance-Off

“There is no better mood-booster than a good dance! The This Girl Can campaign have put together some fantastic dance routines to keep you and the kids happy,”

James’ Football Shooting Challenge

“With the world missing its football fix, why not challenge pupils to a creative shooting contest? All you need is something to kick and something to aim for…!”
